Newly Single and Female

The topic for this workshop came about as I (Frank Shapiro) was giving a 2 week workshop in Greece. I was talking to two of the participants on the course, both female, both in their early 40s and both newly single.

The conversation came onto how newly single women who had been in a relationship for most of their adult life were lost when they suddenly became unattached. It amazed me to discover some of the things I take for granted that I know about.

One of these women said that she thought 'Newly Single and Female' would be a great topic for a workshop. Much as I was surprised at them telling me there was a need for such a workshop for women, it was barely anything compared to the shock I felt when they elaborated on the specific topics that they felt the didn't know or understand. The issues they wanted covered were wide and varied from basic *financial understanding to how one can get STD (sexually transmitted diseases)

So, always one for a challenge I put together a workshop on that very topic covering the issues they said were of interest to them. (see below for more detail on topics covered)
